This park, between Coram and Riverhead, is a beauty, perched on the bluffs over Long Island Sound. While not a bike trial, bikes are allowed. The Yellow 3.7 mile loop is the longest, but with the other loops engaged it can easily go to 12 .
The trials are, by any account, easy. Wide, with gradual elevation change, these are multi-use trails, and have bi-directional "traffic". As this is one of the busiest parks in the state during the summer months, riding from September-June is more enjoyable. An extra $30.00 "Stargazing" permit (Hey, it's New York State-fees on top of fees) gets one in to ride at night.
