Mountain Biking Winchester Trails

****   Add a review
#81 of 306 mountain bike trails in Oregon
#3,925 in the world

This is a network of trails used by both MTBrs and motorized vehicles. A map (and fantastic service!) can be obtained from Moe's Bike Shop in North Bend. The trails are typical coastal riding with lots of roots and several rolling hills, which sometimes can be quite a "technical challenge". The trails themselves are not that flowy, but many of them are extremely well groomed during the riding season of summer and fall. Winter is just plain wet. Spring can be too. There are several lollipop or loop routes that can be done, and due excellent trail intersection markings, when a map is used distances and difficulty can be adjusted according to your fitness level and ability. Although I marked this as a doubletrack, much of it is singletrack and connector sections are often gravel fireroad.
