From Highway 83 near mile marker 71 turn east onto Forest Service Road #680, just past the Swan Guard Station. Drive for 1.5 miles and turn left onto Forest Service Road #9507. Drive for 0.7 miles, the trailhead is on the right side of the road. To continue to the higher access, bear left at the road intersection, and veer right at the intersection of road #9507 (to Bond Creek Trail) to get onto road #9514. Continue up this road to near the end, about 5.8 miles, the trail is on the right.
