Two bicycles are parked on the grassy shore by a tranquil lake, surrounded by trees. The water reflects the greenery and cloudy sky, creating a serene outdoor scene. Yonah Preserve mountain bike trail.

Superb flowing xc riding in the north ga mountains. These trails are extremely well maintained and easy to follow. The 100 trail is a smooth speedway, the 200 trail ups the ante a little bit and the 250 trail is a real challenge, but one that still delivers the fun. Worth a visit if you’re anywhere up in this area. As far as I understand, there is more trail construction coming soon.

Rode this for the first time in November and it is now one of my favorite North Georgia trails, great for when you want to ride with some speed with just a very small dash of technical stuff. Very flowy trail. Wish it was closer to my house, so I could ride it during the week!

This is by far the funnest trail I've ever ridden in my life. No lie. Of course I've only ridden the trails in the Orlando metro area and a few down on the Florida east coast, so riding in the Georgia hills is a real thrill. Hard packed dirt instead of sugar sand and lots of elevation changes.

Stan did a great job building this trail! I was hesitant about riding this for the longest due to the easy and beginner ratings I kept seeing and hearing. While some of the trail is awesome for beginners to learn on there are parts that are still challenging and technical that equal a few other trails. Especially with the new Blue (250) trail being completed. The trails were very well maintained and wide for Single track. I will be going back here more often to learn more and enjoy this great trail. Thank you NEGa SORBA!

Rode this for the first time today. Definately built with XC in mind. Not much elevation or gnar, but fast and flowy. Fun ride, and nice lake view.

Great beginner track and a thoroughly enjoyable ride! This is fast and flowy with little elevation change. There are currently two figure 8 trails (Cherrokee 100 and 200) that are dual direction (I prefer to go left). All of it is about 8 miles but you can do it in chunks for less experienced (in shape) riders, or if you're pressed for time. The 200 trail has a short, intermediate section with a couple of small jumps and rock features. This section is best approached from a counter-clockwise direction.
In addition to the bite sized loops, the trail is pretty close to civilization (food, medical care, etc).
There is nothing challenging, just machine built flows and berms to put a smile on your face.
There is another section in the works that will add almost 2 miles that is supposed to be a little more advanced.
Similar trails are Payne's Creek and Jackrabbit

super easy trail but so fun! if you want a great ride that you can take beginners along with - maybe stoke a MTB fire in their hearts - this might be the trail. smooth trail with curving contours. Nothing too steep but lots of opportunity for speed. Very few roots. beautiful lake is a plus. 2 loops - both loops take about 40 minutes total

Fast and flowy. Very similar to Payne's Creek. Nothing like Chicopee. Great for beginners or xc riding. Very nicely marked and maintained.

Just moved to Gainesville. Can get here in 20 min. Fun fun trails!!! And very well kept. Great beginner loop but fast enough to make it fun for anyone. Other loop little more challenging but still flowing and fast. Local young man in parking lot said they are looking to add on more trails. I will be coming back here often!!

My sons and I enjoyed it very much. It is not the most difficult ride but very fun. Not much climbing but yet there are some downhills that you can get some great speed on. Very flowy trail like Jack Rabbit, Hartwell and Chicopee. There is also a fun section of tall berms and jumps on the 200 trail that you can loop around on and have fun doing the jumps over and over. Great location and great trail marking.
