Mountain Biking AC/DC/MCR
#55 of 202 mountain bike trails in Tennessee
I would say to use a gps enabled phone, bring a map, or ride with someone who is familiar, or just do it!! AC/DC starts from W side of Chain Ring, at a huge berm, can't miss it.(two way traffic but flows best W to E) Miles of flowy fun single track, with a roller coaster section sporting six or seven bridges. shortly after bridges, at botom, you can choose to finish AC/DC or take MCR out. Ac/Dc Both are more flowy goodness, MCR probably easier.

From Knoxville, S on 71 (Chapman Hwy) to E Ford Valley Rd. L (E) to end, L and quick R on Prospect, to Anderson School. Park and head out Lost Chromosome trail to Chain Ring. going CCW around the ring will bring you to AC/DC shortly, or CW you will also cut trail after a good ways.
Excellent South East trails, some of the best actually! The bridges are a blast, nice long wall to practice on, short technical climbs. By far my favorite place to ride in the South Knoxville area.
Thank |Very nice trail, with miles of flow. Could do eather direction but flows well if you start out CCW on Chain Ring and drop in at the berm. Love the bridges. Hi consequence but nice and wide. When you get to MCR you may choose to take that back to the Ring, more fun, or finish ac/dc, lots of fun.
Thank |Easily my favorite trail in the Dirty South Network. Lots of flow, not too easy, twisty, and the bridges are a blast. I pump (track) half the time and pedal the other half.
