Mountain Biking Baldwin Loop
#77 of 417 mountain bike trails in Arizona
This is the loop at the end of Templeton Trail that makes a
Templeton/Baldwin lollipop ride if you start at the Bell Rock Pathway. This
entry describes a direct access to make the Baldwin Loop a stand-alone
ride. This allows you to avoid the rather steep descent and climb back up
to the mesa from the river bottom.
This loop is 2.25 miles in length and can be ridden in either direction, but
most riders prefer to do it clockwise. This allows many of the steps and
ledges to be done on the descent.
There are two waypoints on the map that mark trail junctions. The NW
waypoint marks the junction with Templeton Trail.

From Oak Creek Village drive almost to the end of Verde Valley School Road
to the Red Rocks Crossing parking area. The trail begins across the road
from this parking lot.
Entertaining trail that most people use as a connector for Hiline. Typical intermediate style Sedona singletrack.
Thank |Nice little loop to add to the end of Templeton or High Line. There's a few short and technical climbs, but nothing crazy here... let-er rip!
Thank |Great loop at the end of Hi-Line
Thank |A nice, entertaining trail, with some great classic red rock riding!
Thank |This is a short but fun loop with a few technical challenges. It is probably best as a lollipop-turn around point from either Templeton or High Line Trails ... but has enough fun stuff to stand alone. Do a loop both directions.
