Mountain Biking Cottonwood Loop

#102 of 202 mountain bike trails in Tennessee

Just one route and it is a single track for beginners it has three jumps and is mainly flat little climbs or
drops every now and then. Runs along river only .8 of a mile though I usually do 5 times for fun but 9 or
10 for good practice.

Just came for the first time with a 9 yrs old, an 11 and a 12, they did great. Its a fun easy first experience for beginners boarding the river. When we found the clubhouse for parking, we've got a little intimidated with the "only residents" sign, but its mostly to keep it safe and "noise" free.

Yeah, went to scout out this trail today and there are multiple signs declaring this area to be private property. Probably cool for the people that live in Cottonwood estates but the last thing I need is to risk being hassled by Franklin's finest when I'm trying to get my ride on.

Easy quick trail that is one mile long one way. Actually pretty fun. Great to hit 3 or 4 times in a row back and forth for exercise. Great trail for beginners. The directions link took me totally somewhere else but here are the directions.
