Mountain Biking Croy Creek Trail System
#19 of 319 mountain bike trails in Idaho
The Croy Creek trails are masterpieces of their type. They are no-nonsense back-country trails that weave their way around rolling hills unencumbered by technical features. The gradient is strictly controlled (except for a small section on Bullion Connector) so if you take your time, you'll climb without breaking out into a sweat. If you're going down-slope you won't carve off layers of brake pad. You won't encounter strait lines or level running - these trails are curvy and rolling. Intermediate riders will think they're in nirvana. Advanced riders will find that the gritty surface will keep them focused at high speed. There are eight trails that can be connected into a loop (or two). They are all very similar. The setting has a nice open-spaces, on-top-of-the-world feeling as you pedal around arid hills covered with low shrubs and grasses above civilization in the valley below.
