After the Spring Brook Loop junction, Doudy Draw crosses the creek and heads east up the slope to the Flatirons Vista Trails. Here you will find open stands of ponderosa pine on a savannah ecosystem. This is a tale of two trails. The north half is a boring doubletrack that merits little attention. The other half, especially if done from south (at the intersection with Flatirons Vista) to North (where it intersects with Spring Brook) is an absolute hoot. If it was all like the south half, it'd warrant a much better rating.

A good beginners trail. Fun place to ride over a lunch break. Can connect to several other trails for a nice long ride.

It's nothing spectacular but it's not a bad trail if you live nearby. There is a section after the intersection with Spring Brook that is rather steep and rocky but the rest of the trail is easy.

There used to be a bridge that demarcated the start of the steeper section but it was wiped out by the 2013 flood. So unless you're an absolute beast expect to dismount for a short creek crossing.

Like most of the South Boulder trails it gets extremely crowded with hikers, other bikers and the occasional horse on the weekends.

This is a really nice, easy ride perfect if you live in or around Boulder. I generally start at the greenbelt plateau parking lot off of 93. Cross 93 and head up Flatirons vista North, drop down into the springbrook loop, and the take doudy draw/ community ditch on the way out to the greenbelt plateau section at the top of Marshall Mesa, which brings you back to your car.
This is a great ride if you have kids or a SO who is not advanced at riding. The scenery in the valley is awesome.

Just like Spring Brook, quick easy singletrack, good way to extend Marshall Mesa riding. Crowded.

An easy, slightly rocky ride. By itself it's pretty short, but it's nice to connect to Springbrook or Flatirons Vista. Nothing too special, but it's good for a quick ride.

This trail has epic views and is moderately rocky with occasional stretches of smooth singletrack. From the Doudy Draw trailhead you'll be heading slightly uphill until you get to the top of the connected loop (either CW or CCW). Then its mostly downhill back to the trailhead. The loop snakes through a nice forest. The views on the north side of the loop make the trip worth it.
