Mountain Biking Fairy Creek Trail

***   Add a review
#77 of 256 mountain bike trails in Wyoming
#6,198 in the world

The trail is well-compacted gravel, of car width. There is absolutely no technical features, it is flat and smooth.

This is a ride for all the family, and is about the scenery and getting out there for some light exercise.

THere are branch trails for hiking off this trail - but bikes are NOT allowed. This includes a branch to Fairy Falls - a bike rack is provided, BYO lock and shoes for the 1.5 mile hike if you are keen.

I went along thus trail primarily for the view of grand prismatic spring, which is a "must have" for any photographer. We beat the crowds at the main carpark there, and got the views I wanted.

Bonus is the views along the way - river, bison, etc.

There is absolutely nothing technical - but it is faster than hiking, and you can just enjoy the surrounds.
