A clear blue sky with scattered clouds above a grassy field. In the foreground, a blue bicycle is leaning against a utility pole. In the background, a tall structure with a climbing wall is visible, surrounded by additional utility poles and power lines. Trees line the edge of the field, creating a natural backdrop. There were alot of dips and down hills which created a great down hill single track. The Lake Orion Mountain Bike Club hosts a race for school districts so you can learn everything from basics to more intermediate on this trail.

A little tight, not the best flow. Some fun sections. Hard to follow and I am a local

I'm not exactly sure why, but I had fairly low expectations for this trail. Being wrong never felt so fun. This trail is an absolute work out. Mostly due to not having much recovery between climbs and tech. I like twisty trails with punchy climbs and this one delivered. Wish I hadn't waited so long to try it out. Pretty dark within the trees back there, so wear some type of lightening lens. If you park at the north east corner of the soccer fields just ride up the hill and along the fence. You will see the trail start to show itself. Enjoy.

I've rode most the trails in the area, and this one is one of my go to quick rides. The trails aren't marked well and crossover a lot, but it gives you the ability to choose which route you feel more comfortable on as they all seem to loop back. You can keep a decent speed throughout the park even if you are a beginner which helps greatly. It also connects to Bald Mountain State Park's trails if it hasn't worn you out enough. In the summer I have found it to be extremely buggy and you will get eaten alive if you wear a tank top, so keep that in mind.

Excellent trail. This can be as hard or as easy as you want it to be. There are off camber turns, sand, rocks, roots and hard packed sections. Climbs are punchy / steep in sections with by-passes for a few of the options. This trail could easily host a race as there are plenty of passing sections and tight sections too.

A hidden secret. 10 miles of singletrack behing Lake Orion High School. Confusing for your visit, but tight turns, rock gardens and fast corners make for a fun ride. Can be linked from the connector to Bald Mountain South. If in doubt at a turn, go left to extend the ride - head North of the school parking lot and ride in a generally clockwise direction.
