The trail consists of interconnected loops that offer everything from beginner trails to some really nice technical tracks. The are some obsticles located throughout the trail, some are complete and some have fallen apart so check the course out before you go through it at full speed. Take whatever route that makes you happy, it is a really nice ride.

Trails are in Pennyrile State Forest, Adjacent to Hwy 109, approximately 5 miles south of Dawson Springs. Trailhead is 1 mile west of Hwy 109 on the north entrance road into the Forest. Parking is available near the Macedonia Cemetary. From Hopkinsville, take 68 to 109 and follow that north until you see the park signs.
I have visited the trail before and it was badly overgrown so I gave up on it till recently. It was posted Pennyrile Park was leading their first of the month hike in March on the upper white trail so I went down there today to give it another shot. I rode the upper white trail and the lower white trail and the trails were cleaned up. The trail was still leafed cover but was in much better shape than last year. I can't speak on the blue, yellow, or red trail but the two white trails were clear.
| ThankI was not too impressed with the trail. Soft dirt and not very well maintained. I'm sure storms have alot to do with the downed trees, but there doesn't seem to be alot of concern about maintenance. It is tucked away in the forest and pretty far from civilization. So I assume only a few locals and the ocassional camper will venture to these trails. It was worth checking because we are close, but I will not waste the time to return with so many other great trails in my area.
| ThankI attempted this trail in March of 09. Made it about quarter mile before I gave up on it. Not sure if it was because of recent storms or what but there were way too many trees down to ride. I'm usually content to ride over if possible and don't complain when I have to occasionally get off to find a way around one but I spent more time off the bike than on it and the entire area looked the same.
| ThankThe trail was awesome, it had a lot of really fun downhills that would have some tech stuff to it. There were some obsticles that were fun to go over. Some of the trail has not been maintained for a while and was a little rough. The scenery was really nice. Except for a popped tire, it was a great ride.
