Mountain Biking Masonic

*****   Add a review
#172 of 710 mountain bike trails in Utah
#4,552 in the world

Masonic is a twisty, techy oldschool-style descent off the top of the knob down to Lost Prospector. The trees and undergrowth grow in close to the narrow tread, and the challenging rocks and sharp twists and turns are reminiscent of legacy trails. Once Masonic begins to parallel Lost Prospector, the trail isn't nearly as steep, but it is still narrow and relatively rocky--much narrower and more challenging than Lost Prospector.

Enjoyed Masonic. TIght switchbacks at the beginning going counter-clockwise. A little washed out.

While I love wide-open flowy trails, these tight, twisty, challenging tracks are just so much fun and a welcome change! This was my favorite trail of the day, and one of my favorite trails all week!
