Trail starts on the Spooky trail segment. About 1.2 up you'll see a trail on
your left. This is where you will be coming out at. Continue straight. At
about 2.6 from the car you'll encounter another trail junction. Go Left. After
another short climb you'll hit some super fast downhill. After you're down
the trail will follow red creek and cross it several times. Be prepared to get
you're feet wet. After about another 2.6 you'll come to a junction with an
atv rd, go left. You will climb a little here then have some fun water bar
jumps on the double track. Watch for the Corral Creek trail (240) on you're
left. Follow it back up a gradual climb to the intersection with Spooky trail
where you started. Take a right and bomb back down the trail to the car.
Little bit of a drive to get to this one, but it's worth it. Small hike-a-bike over some larger rocks before the first river crossing. And be on the lookout for stinging nettle near this river crossing, as well. If you can avoid touching it, or know you don't react, you'll be fine.
Thank |Plenty of other river crossings of varying depth to keep the ride fun and you cool on hot days. You will meet up with an ATV trail before you hook back up with the singletrack, but it has a lot of little rollers perfect for going fast and catching a little air off. Overall, an excellent trail!
The downhill into Red Creek and Red Creek section more than make up for any climbing you had to do. Scenery is amazing throughout out the trail. Moose and bear are in the area as well. Was about 2-3 hours total for me on the ride. The return to your car on Spooky is an awesome downhill ride in itself.
