Visiting here from TN. So we're not "trained athletes " and we are old ( 60 ) but I don't think these trails are "easy ". Compare them to some of the trails on the mountain , like Armstrong and you might call them easy but they have a degree of challenge. Never the less - they are FUN!! Especially like Rambler - great flowy Singletrack with nothing too technical. Lots of options to make different loops. Wish we had more days here . Best to early in the day if the sun is out and it is hot as there is no shade.
Thank |The area has a nice open spaces feel and the trails undulate more than enough for some gutsy training rides. They are popular two-way, shared-use trails.
Thank |fun trails, easy to get to from SLC, great for a quick lunch ride or before work. lots of options to do different short rides or make a longer one. Great for those of us who aren't pro athletes. They are always improving the trails and maintain them very well.
Thank |This was my first time @ Round Valley. I liked the trail system as it is intermediate in difficulty with climbs that the average out of shape person can complete. The area is replete with scrub brush, but no Aspens or Fir Trees that I saw. It does contain some flowy sections of downhill over smooth dirt as well as rock gardens. The trails are well marked and there are several parking areas/TH's to begin from.
Thank |Nothing much more to add. Good early season ride, lots of loop options. The climbs/downhills are gradual, mostly smooth, and very flowy (fun). No big climbs, so easier for that "easy" day, after climbing in PCMR.
Thank |Enjoyed Round Valley! One of the easiest trail systems in Park City.
Thank |Basic beginner train. Can find some more difficult stuff, but pretty mediocre considering the area.
Thank |Mostly smooth, rolling black dirt Singletrack through the sage. Very beginner friendly.
Thank |Mostly smooth single track but a little sandy, a liitle rocky. Having this interlaced group of fun, flowy high desert trails is a nice change of pace from the nearby mountains. Very well marked (as all trails in Park City seem to be) with lots of total mileage to be had.
Thank |This trail system is a great early season options for locals and lower elevation for visitors. Easy single track trails that spiderweb all over the area, so it is easy to put together some fun loops. Also a great place to bring younger riders as most the climbing is easy and the trails never get too technical for them to handle. Great family ride location, with a small park and sporting complex by the parking lot.
Thank |Fun singletrack. A good low elevation first day option for us visitors from the flatlands.
