Mountain Biking Spiro
#45 of 710 mountain bike trails in Utah
Spiro, like the nearby Crescent Mine Grade trail, is one of the longer individually-named trails in the Park City area. Running for about 3 miles from town up to Thaynes Canyon Road, Spiro is an entertaining ride as either a climb or descent. Since Armstrong was built, it has mostly become a downhill trail with features although it is still occasionally climbed.

Fun trail, a few sections of straight double track that was disappointing. The bottom felt like washboards for the last two miles. All together a fun trail.
Thank |A must do in Park City, super fast, lots of fun features and switchbacks, just watch out for uphill hikers.
Thank |Great Downhill trail! A little dusty when I rode it.
Thank |While obviously it's more entertaining as a descent than a climb, this loamy trail through the aspens is just excellent either way!
