#61 of 417 mountain bike trails in Arizona
Sweet little loop! Gradual climb with some fun descent and nice views of Scottsdale and Phoenix. Watch out for Cacti and drink lots of water, it's very exposed and the Sun is relentless.
I think this is a fairly new trail so please be kind to hikers, so we can keep this trail open to bikes.

124th street and Via Linda. Take Via Linda to 124th street and turn left, go past Cactus and the trail head is in Lost Dog Trail Park on your right.
Started at the trail head off of Via Linda. Within 30 seconds had to dismount for hikers. This happened several more times before I called it a day and headed for McDowell Mtn Park. This trail had a big incline right from the beginning and was more than I (intermediate rider) could handle anyway.
Thank |Where is this located I need a good climb
Thank |Rode the Lost Dog and Ring Tail loops and then up and down the Sunrise trail. The Lost Dog and Ring Tail loops were fun with little elevation change. Sunrise trail is about 2 miles of constant climbing and then descent, which for me (intermediate) pushed my lungs and skills to the max (which is a good thing). Had a blast, and will be back. * Review edited 12/5/2011
