A dense forest scene featuring tall trees with vibrant green leaves. A weathered tree trunk is visible in the center, with a large, knotted growth on its side. Sunlight filters through the leaves, creating dappled light and shadows on the forest floor. Tatum Park mountain bike trail.

#5,027 in the world

Part of the Monmouth County Park System, Tatum contains a combination of singletrack, fire-road and open field. Maps are available at Trailhead and activity center, though some trails are restricted from biking. Sandy in spots, a couple decent climbs. Once a year, the park plays host to the Woods Hollow Mountainbike Race

Double track mostly, single track mostly all hiking no biking. Cruising through fields a bit with little if any defined trail. I was frustrated that the best trails were off limits. The lay out was weird also. Great place to take a beginner to taste mtb'ing without worrying about tech features. We raced here, kind of like a CX race on MTBs

Very beautiful and a great place for beginners and families or a nice after work ride (according to a local I met).
