Mountain Biking Three Bears #26, Trail #5, Fat Tire #42, Trail #4
#41 of 319 mountain bike trails in Idaho
Nice optional route in the Boise Foothills that connects Military Reserve to 8th street and upper Hulls Gulch. You're only on the very lower end of Three Bears #26 for about 1 mile where it is an old road, then you turn off on Trail #5, which is a steep ridgeline old two-track. Fat Tire is a nice bench cut singletrack, and Trail #4 is steep as well and shared with OHVs but a good downhill run.

Take 8th Street in north Boise past the Lower Hulls Gulch parking area (or park here and ride up Lower Hulls to Trail #4.) to the motorcycle parking lot on 8th street where Trail #4 starts. Or, park at the end of Mountain Cove Road - at the south side of Military Reserve - to start at the bottom of Three Bears (or Ride Military Reserve trails and ride to Three Bears).
