Spanish mountain bike brand Mondraker is partnering with QARV Imports to bring its line of DH, enduro, Trail, XC, and electric mountain bikes to the USA starting in November. The companies say the bikes will be available at select brick-and-mortar shops, with no mention of online distribution.
According to the press release,
Mondraker is best known for its Forward Geometry concept, and was the first brand to push the limits toward a frame geometry-approach that is now viewed as standard for modern trail bikes. By lengthening the front centers and dramatically shortening stems, Mondraker turned heads in 2012 with its Dune XR and Foxy XR models and their groundbreaking 10mm stem lengths.
Mondraker CEO Miguel Pina says, “We are very proud that our approach to the mountain bike geometry standard has been followed by nearly every brand today, but we’re also proud of our other proprietary technologies like the Stealth Air carbon layup process and the superb Zero Suspension System used on all our full suspension models.”
This fall consumers will have a chance to demo Mondraker mountain bikes — including the Dune, Foxy, Factor, and Podium — at events like Vail’s Outlier Offroad festival, Outerbike, the Pisgah Mountain Bike Festival, and Fall Cyclofest.
