When it comes to exploring the planet under human power, there’s no better tool than the mountain bike. Helping mountain bikers find the best places to explore on two wheels has been at the core of the Singletracks experience since 1999 and this week we’re excited to launch a brand new series called Five2Ride.
Over the next year and a half, we’ll share photos and descriptions for five excellent mountain bike trails within a single state, province, or country on a weekly basis. We’ll progress through the series in reverse alphabetical order, starting with Wyoming next week.
In order to compile each article, we’ll draw heavily on our user-generated trail database for key user reviews, user-submitted photos, and popularity measures. Each author will put his or her own unique spin on the information, calling out interesting facts about these places that you may not be aware of. Instead of being solely editorial or user-generated, Five2Ride will be a series of hybrid articles that harness all of your excellent input, curated by the author to be as helpful as possible.
How you can help.
Inevitably we’ll get this same comment over and over again as we go through this series: “You missed trail ABC! It’s the best in the state/country: why isn’t it included in Five2Ride?”
Well, we need your help! If there are awesome trails in our database that you haven’t reviewed yet, run a quick search and add your review. If you know of trails that we don’t have listed, after running a search to make doubly sure someone hasn’t already added the trail, add it here, and then review it. We’ll also turn to social media to get your input for locations we don’t yet know a lot about.
This is your opportunity to tell the world about your favorite mountain bike trails! Add your reviews now, so when your state or country comes up we can include your input in the article.
Get ready to read about some amazing trails all over the planet!
