The 2024 Red Bull Rampage freeride competition is shaping up to be one of the most exciting yet, with both men’s and women’s fields converging in Utah this October. New details have emerged about the venue, with the men competing in the 2018/2019 venue. The women, on the other hand, will sculpt their lines in a new, “untouched zone.” Each venue will have its own dedicated start and end chutes.
“The 2019 site is the steepest and biggest zone out of all of them. It’s also super special to me, because my line there contains the biggest drop of my life,” said Red Bull athlete Szymon Godziek in a press release. “I am excited to come back and see if I can spin that huge drop!”
As of press time, the event is completely sold out.
Equal prize payouts are on the line for the top five men and women. The women’s competition will take place on Thursday, October 10 at 9pm ET/6pm PT and will be available on ESPN+, Red Bull TV, and the Red Bull YouTube channel. The men will compete on Saturday, October 12 at 12pm ET/9am PT exclusively on ESPN+ in the US. Those outside the US can watch on Red Bull TV. Highlights are set to air on ESPN2 on October 27.
Mike Cartier will be covering the event in person for Singletracks.

I had thought they'd just moved to the new venue, and that would be that for the foreseeable future, but turns out I was wrong.
