$25 is Enough to Give a Kid a Bike via this Virtual Fundraising Ride

On May 1 FB4K is encouraging bikers around the globe to join them on a virtual group ride, with all proceeds from registration supporting the non-profit.
Guess how many bikes this is.

Free Bikes 4 Kidz (FB4K) is a non-profit with a pretty simple mission: They give free bikes to kids. The group has been around since 2008 and now claims to be the “largest organization of its kind in the country.” The group operates in a dozen locations throughout the USA.

On May 1 FB4K is encouraging bikers around the globe to join them on a virtual group ride, with all proceeds from registration supporting the non-profit. A $25 registration is enough to give one refurbished bike to one kid; $100 gives four bikes to four kids. Even the math is fun and easy!

Everyone who donates gets a six-month membership to USA Cycling, and there’s also swag available at various levels of support.

With bikes in short supply, and kids and families looking for ways to enjoy the outdoors this spring, this should be a great opportunity to help others.
