Unfortunately, shortly after my great ride to Turret, I began to come down with a cold. Several snow storms, rain, and now sickness? Yep, there’s definitely been plenty of “challenge” in the “30 Days of Biking Challenge” this April!
Day 18
My first day with a cold, I kept things short and quick. I hoped to recover as quickly as possible.
Day 19
I was still quite sick, but my lovely wife and I were able to get out for an easy cruise around town.
Day 20
Yeah, I was so over this whole “sick” thing.
Day 21
By day 21, I was finally feeling better! I suppose three days of chill biking wasn’t too bad while weathering a cold, but the fact that it come over a weekend was a bit frustrating. Nevertheless, on Monday I was back at it! I met up with Shawn, the owner of Absolute Bikes, for a quick after work ride:

Day 22
At the last moment, I decided to join the Salida Cycling Club for the Amica’s group road ride on Tuesday night. While rain clouds threatened, we stayed warm and dry the whole ride!
Only 8 days to go!
