7. Mondraker Summum – 26 Top Ten Finishes
Without US distribution, Mondraker’s bikes are about as common on our trails as an albino unicorn. That’s a shame, because they produce innovative bikes. Through their “Forward Geometry” concept, Mondraker has been designing bikes around slack head tubes, long top tubes, and stubby stems. And this was long before others caught on. Today, if a company isn’t doing the long, low, and slack thing, they’re seen as behind the times.

- Mondraker releases the 27.5″ Summum as a 2015 model available in either carbon or aluminum
Standout result: In 2016, Danny Hart wins the 5th, 6th, and 7th rounds before going on to win the rainbow stripes at the World Championships. His teammates Laurie Greenland and Florent Payet would finish 2nd and 3rd, respectively.
Best season: 2016, with 13 top ten finishes and a sweep of the World Champs podium.
