The Beti Bike Bash is Back this Fall in Lakewood, Colorado

The Beti Bike Bash on October 3, 2021 includes womens racing and a skills clinic, with proceeds benefitting non-profit organizations.

The Beti Bike Bash returns this October for the 11th time. This years’ event will include a women’s-only MTB race, produced by Team Evergreen, and will benefit both the Little Bellas and Go4Graham organizations. The event is designed for women and has a Never Ever category for first-time racers, a New Mom category for ladies who have had a child in the past 18 months, and a Pro/Open category.

There will also be a Vida MTB skills clinic ahead of the race, aimed at first time racers and beginners. The clinic will be held on October 3, and will focus on race etiquette, body positioning, and technique.

“After a challenging 2020, we are looking forward to gathering this year to celebrate the Beti Bike Bash. This race is a cornerstone in the women’s mountain biking community and we are thrilled to participate in October! ” says Rachel Gottfried, Dir. of Operations at VIDA MTB Series. “Running our clinic Saturday to help women get race ready and spending Sunday cheering everyone on makes for a celebratory and fun weekend.”

Yeti Cycles is the Bike Bash’s title sponsor. Little Bellas is an organization helping young women get into mountain biking. Go4Graham is a community based program that aims to reduce stigma around mental health and promote mental wellness through community, education, and exercise, like mountain biking.
