Xynotal
Continental offers a comprehensive way to give the rider the best tire selection for their riding skills through five main categories. First the rider can select the track pattern design from “Hardpack, Mixed, Loose or Mud” – this will give the tire its name. Next, the type of riding can be selected from “Enduro, Downhill, or Trail”. The third category is the casing, “Downhill, Enduro, or Trail.” With the main tire name and three universal symbols, Continental tires display the tire specifications with no translation required.
Continental has also opted to move forward with more eco-friendly packaging.

The NS VAS stem offers a vibration absorbing stem that is the first of its kind. Designed for gravel riding, this stem comes in three different Durometers that allow handlebar isolation for its vibration damping feature (47% vibration absorbed compared to standard stem), promising riders less hand fatigue and a shorter recovery.

Leatt is moving toward more eco-friendly materials in their apparel. Their new MTB Gravity 2.0 V22 jersey is made of Tencel, an Austrian tree pulp. Smith Bobcat
The Bobcats just launched a couple of weeks prior to Sea Otter Classic. If you’re familiar with the Smith Wildcats, these are a brand new sister model in a smaller fit. The Bobcats have the look and feel of a goggle, with the flexibility of sunglasses and great coverage all in a lightweight pair. The Bobcats are a great addition as they’re geared for mountain biking but can be crossed over to other disciplines like skiing. These come with interchangeable lenses and Smith’s ChromaPop lens technology for high definition and color clarity. A nice feature is the adjustable nose bridge, and non-slip Megol at the nose and temple contact points to keep them in place during rides.

X-Fusion E Manic dropper post
The E Manic dropper post will offer an affordable wireless RFID connect system in 30.9, 31.6, and 34.9mm diameters. Dropper travel will range from 100-170mm with a cartridge damper system. An inexpensive rechargeable battery that uses USB type-C charging can be charged from and off the dropper itself, even through a power bank. Charging time is around 60 mins to 100% power. Tire clearance will not be a problem as the battery housing is small and compact. The new dropper is expected to drop around the end of this year with an MSRP of around $450USD.
