Cane Creek has a number of cool components dropping today.
You have likely seen the eeSilk suspensions seat post from Cane Creek, with its 20mm of ground smoothing travel. Adventure cyclists may be stoked to see that the brand has extended that travel to 35mm for rougher adventures with this new eeSilk+ post. Like the previous model, it comes in carbon and aluminum with both 27.2 and 31.6mm diameters available. Aluminum posts retail for $219 and the carbon sticks sell for $319.
The North Carolina-based brand also has a new bolt-on fender available to fit all of their Helm forks. No more zip tying plastic to your fork. Helm fenders retail for $39.99.
They have also extended the Hellbender bottom bracket range to fit the 24m spindles of Shimano cranks. The BB will fit BSA, PF30, BB30, and T47 bottom bracket configurations. This set of bearing cups should last quite a while, thanks to its stainless steel construction. The Hellbender 70 retails for $125.99.
Finally, back to the gravel bike side of things, they have a newly designed headset preload plug called Ancora that’s specifically designed for carbon steerer tubes. The knurled surface grips the inside of the carbon tube so the preload can be adjusted for a happy headset. These alloy plugs will retail for $24.99.
