The head-end of Fox that makes MTB protection and apparel has updated the full face Rampage Pro Carbon helmet. There are loads of full-face options out there, and this one is all about gravity racing, with a lightweight package and high breathability.
Our staff writer, Matt Miller, reviewed the RPC in 2019, and he had a positive experience with the top-shelf lid. Of the ventilation specifically, he says “the plethora of vents also kept my head much less sweaty than other full-face helmets I’ve worn in the past. The ventilation is planned out well, and I could feel the channeled air making its way to my face.”
The latest RPC lid retains loads of cool features for head safety and impact protection, like a dual-density EPS layer, a full carbon fiber shell, mesh vent shields to keep debris out, and breakaway bolts on the visor, along with too many safety certifications to list. The main shift from the previous model is a swap from the Fluid Inside rotational impact system to MIPS.
The revised RPC will come in four colors and sizes for $499.95. Click over to the Fox site for further details
