3. Santa Cruz Nomad
With 170mm of travel front and rear, a 65° head tube angle, and a suspension linkage adapted from the V10, you may be asking yourself, “Just who is this bike for?” In short, the fourth-generation Nomad is for riders that want a downhill bike they can pedal uphill. It’s a big, burly machine that’s likely overkill for the majority of riders out there, but something tells me Santa Cruz is still going to sell plenty of them. For all the ladies out there, Santa Cruz’s sister company Juliana is offering the Strega, which shares the same frame as the Nomad, but gets a different paint job and some component tweaks.
