Stolen Goat is a cycling apparel brand based in the UK (manufactured in Belgium and Italy) with a full line of men’s and women’s jerseys, bibs, and accessories. They focus on style, fit, and comfort. After spending some times with their Bodyline SS jersey, I can say that they have done an excellent job. I’ve been wearing the Bodyline SS regularly for the last few months, and I have been extremely impressed.
The minute I opened up the jersey, I could tell how high quality it was. The fabric is very high quality–so much so that I put it on in my office and wore it around for a good four hours. The laser cut seamless sleeves feel great. It’s not something I have thought about in the past, but once I consciously thought about it I realized how superior the feel is compared to a standard seamed sleeve.
This may be the best fitting jersey I own. I wear medium pretty much across the board and this was slightly on the tight side. I prefer a slightly tighter fit so tools, phones, and bottles aren’t bouncing around in the back pockets.
Speaking of pockets, this jersey has three standard pockets on the lower back like most jerseys do. By far my favorite feature of this jersey is a fourth zipper pocket that is lined with a water-resistant material. That means no more sweaty sandwiches, sloppy dollars, or wet phones. I wish all of my jerseys had a zipper pocket like this to keep important items safe and dry.
The Bodyline SS comes in a handful of different color combinations. No matter what vibe you are going for, you should be able to find something stylish.
These jerseys are priced at £60 which comes out to roughly $77 USD (depending on the exchange rate). Compared to the $100+ jerseys I have in my closet I would say this is of equal (if not higher) quality. I think if you prefer lycra over baggies as I do you will be just as impressed as I am.
Thanks to Stolen Goat for providing the Bodyline SS Jersey for review.
