1. Specialized Enduro
The Specialized Enduro is the only mountain bike on this list that is available in both 27.5″ and 29er wheel sizes, which might have something to do with its unmatched popularity among Singletracks readers. Not only that, the 29er Enduro is compatible with 27.5+ wheels. Specialized updated the Enduro frame just last year, giving the bike shorter chainstays, slacker angles, and a SWAT down tube storage compartment.
Depending on the wheel size, the Specialized Enduro offers 160mm (29er) or 170mm (27.5″) of front and rear suspension travel. Aluminum builds start at $3,200 and go up to $8,500 for carbon fiber, S-Works models.
