Someone once told me you can identify a true mountain biker if the bike they ride on the trail is worth more than the car that carries everything to the trailhead. For many riders there may be some truth to that, but let’s face it: some vehicles are more practical than others for getting to the best trails.
What is the Best Type of Vehicle for Transporting Mountain Bikes to the Trail?

The advantage of a van is being able to carry up to 4 bikes upright inside and out of sight and out of the weather. Anything carried outside is going to pick up dust and dirt and road oil and so I use a hitch mounted rack only for my heavy road e-bikes and mountain bikes.
