Although not a surprising decision, it’s still an unfortunate one, as Outerbike has cancelled three of their six events this year due to coronavirus-related difficulties.
Events at Killington Bike Park in Vermont, Crested Butte, Colorado, and Duluth, Minnesota have all been cancelled.
“Due to everything learned from the state health departments, cities, and counties, group sizes will still be limited in July and August, ultimately preventing us from holding these three events,” said a representative for Outerbike.
“Outerbike will be offering guests credit for any future Outerbike event through 2021, in addition to giving them an additional free ticket to bring a friend, as well as reaching out to exhibitors individually to work out details about these cancellations and about future plans for 2020 and beyond.”
Outerbike still has three more events on the schedule this fall. Festivals at Lake Tahoe, Bentonville, and Moab are still slated to happen in September and October.
