It may still be February, but the good news is spring is around the corner! In the northern hemisphere trail construction and grand openings tend to slow down a bit this time of year, but we learned about at least three new mountain bike trails that managed to open or expand this month.
Goat Farm (Greenmount, Western Australia): The Goat Farm bike park opened 2.2km of new trails in February as part of a major recreation and tourism investment. Additional trails are set to be completed by June 2021.

Hiawatha Fat Bike Trails (Sault Ste Marie, Ontario): Thanks to a recent snowmobile donation, the Sault Cycling Club is now able to groom about 20km of dedicated fat bike trails in the Hiawatha trail system.

XQuarry Adventure Park (Sharjah, United Arab Emirates): Approximately 3km of mountain bike trails are located within the newly-opened park, with another 10km of riding available in the surrounding area. Access to the trails costs about $15 for the day, and bike rentals are available for about $15 per hour. In addition to the bike trails, XQuarry offers an off-road driving course, an RC car track, and obstacle course.
