For some time there has been much ado about how to best preserve Idaho’s stunning Boulder-White Clouds mountains. Recently, preservationists and mountain bikers combined forces to arrive at a mutually beneficial means of protecting this magnificent natural resource. If only the folks in Montana could have followed this model before eliminating cycling access to some of the continent’s best mountain bike routes.
