
Having local mountain bike trails to ride is a blessing. Still, riding the same trails over and over can start to get boring, especially if they’re short, or we’re not intentional about how and when we ride them.

- join a new group ride
- ride with a new rider/kid/visitor
- ride in an atypical direction for you (on two-way trails)
- ride hardtail/fat/singlespeed/etc. for a change
- run the trails
- learn all the areas you can pump, jib off of, etc to keep some flow and fun on things you already know
- go for some PRs
- help build new local trails
