E-bike trail access is inconsistent not just across the nation, but even from trail-to-trail in the same region. Singletracks has reported diligently on changes in e-bike laws around the nation, but there still isn’t a blanket acceptance of e-bikes on the trails in the USA.

Furthermore, plenty of riders don’t want to see e-bikes on their local mountain bike trails. Despite years of debate, the issue remains contentious.
