If your name wasn’t drawn for the custom Reeb hardtail in The Pisgah Conservancy’s Pisgah Project bike raffle, you’ve got another shot at a dream bike that also benefits Pisgah-area trails. Pisgah Area SORBA is giving away a custom Orbea Occam LT valued at $14,000, and entries are open through November 18.
The Occam LT is a 160mm-front, 150mm-rear trail bike, and this one is kitted with top-shelf parts: a 2027 Fox Factory 36 fork and Float X shock, a wireless Shimano XTR Di2 drivetrain with XTR Trail brakes, Industry Nine Hydra 2 Enduro carbon wheels, a wireless Fox Transfer Neo dropper, and Cane Creek eeWings titanium cranks. The winner also gets a setup and tuning session with Fox Factory at Ride Kanuga in Western North Carolina, though travel and lodging aren’t included. Note that the bike is listed in a size large only, so riders on either end of the size chart might end up selling or gifting it.
Entries are cheaper than the Pisgah Project’s $30 tickets, starting at $10 for 10 entries and topping out at 200 entries for $100. Plus, OneUp Components is matching the first $10,000 raised. According to the club, proceeds support “Pisgah Area SORBA’s trail maintenance, trail crews and volunteers, and new trail projects across Western North Carolina.”
The giveaway is open to legal US residents 18 and older (19 in Alabama and Nebraska, 21 in Mississippi), excluding New York. Entries close at 11:59 pm ET on November 18, and the winner will be announced at 7 am ET on November 20. Entries are available through RallyUp, and full details and the build list are on Cognative MTB’s giveaway page.
