We’re finally getting settled into our new Atlanta digs and mudhunny and I managed to squeeze in a ride at Yellow River yesterday. The trailhead area has seen major upgrades since the last time we rode there years ago. Now all the trail users have their own parking lot (hikers, bikers, and equestrians) and the trails themselves are well marked thanks to a signage project currently under way. The mountain bike trails still have good flow, especially the perceived uphill to downhill ratio (less than 1 in my opinion).
We did have some bad luck with our move, however, as some of you who recently ordered singletracks socks are aware. Our entire inventory of singletracks socks (over 100 pairs) was lost somewhere between here and Durham. If you were lucky enough to get your socks before August you’re holding onto a rare piece of clothing that will only continue to increase in value 😉 So be careful – try to keep the grease off ’em and protect them from snags!
If you do see the singletracks socks for sale online somewhere (say ebay or Craigslist) let us know so we can catch the thief! Or perhaps more likely they’ll just turn up in one of our boxes somewhere …
