Mountain Biking Colorado Trail: Morrison Creek / Lunar Loop
#148 of 1,383 mountain bike trails in Colorado
This trail starts out on the same track as the Green Mountain option. Take the Shingleman
trail to the right, then make a left onto the Morrison Creek trail. Follow this down to Buffalo
Creek Road. Go right on this doubletrack for about .3 miles, then head back up the
singletrack Shingleman trail. This trail covers a large burned out area from a forest fire
several years ago (before the Hayman fire). This trail is a bit sandier and more exposed
than the Green Mountain option and climbs about 800 feet total.
