YT Industries likes to release limited edition builds that their customers are asking for from time to time, and today they have new “Blaze” build options for the Izzo, Jeffsy, and Capra. The Blaze 29er models each receive top SRAM and RockShox components, and the Izzo even gets a little boost in fork travel.
Unlike the last Shred model series, these bikes will be available in limited quantities. YT says, “The IZZO Blaze is limited to 250 bikes for the Europe and Israel markets and 250 for the USA, Canada, and Australia. The Jeffsy Blaze 29 and Capra Blaze 29 are limited to 150 bikes in each market respectively.” With massive lead times on nearly all bikes, customers might be less concerned about the limited-edition factor as long as the bikes are actually available.
Kicking off with the Izzo Blaze, the carbon fiber 29er receives changes akin to the Yeti SB130 “Lunch Ride” builds, with a 140mm RockShox Pike Ultimate where the original builds use 130mm forks, and 130mm of rear axle travel compressing a Deluxe Ultimate shock. The bike gets up to speed with a SRAM GX 12-speed drivetrain and scrubs with a set of G2 RCS brakes. The burlier build has a set of DT Swiss M 1900 Spline wheels wrapped in two Maxxis DHR II tires to contend with rougher riding. Izzo Blaze bikes are available in Titan Black, weighing a reported 13.7kg for a size small, and retailing at €/$3.999.
On our way up the travel ladder, the Jeffsy Blaze 29er keeps its 150mm of balanced travel, squishing a RockShox Lyrik Ultimate fork and SuperDeluxe Ultimate shock. The mid-travel monster has the same drivetrain, brakes, and wheelset as the Izzo, with a Maxxis Minion DHF and DHR II tire combo. The Blaze model comes in a two-tone silver hue, hits the scale at 14.2kg in size small, and sells for the same impressive price of €/$3,999.
Finally, the longest travel single-crown YT model is the Capra Blaze 29 with 170mm of travel front and rear. The long-travel bruiser gets a RockShox ZEB Ultimate fork and RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate shock, with the same drivetrain as the shorter-travel bikes and a set of Code RSC brakes. Its DT Swiss M 1900 Spline rims are wrapped in Maxxis Assegai and DHR II tires. The Capra Blaze weighs a reported 15kg in size medium and retails for €/$3,999.
