California launches their own state MTB org
A press release published on Bicycle Retailer and Industry News states that California now has a statewide mountain bike organization, the California Mountain Biking Coalition. CAMTB finalized their non-profit standing at the end of October, and will now try to unify a statewide voice and link together local organizations throughout the state.
The press release says that CAMTB has been much needed as a better way to coordinate efforts and share expertise. They plan on engaging with local, state, and federal land managers, and to provide education to land managers, promote diversity in the MTB community, and coordinate action between member communities.
CAMTB says that they are now on the hunt for an interim executive director, and are ready to expand their board of directors, who are leaders in local organizations around California.
Statewide mountain bike organizations seem to be a growing trend, and some are choosing to stand independently of IMBA. States like Vermont, Michigan, and Evergreen MTB, based out of Washington state, all operate similarly.

Outerbike will move into four new states in 2020
The mountain biker gathering and demo festival Outerbike will visit four new states next year, including Vermont, Utah, Minnesota, and California.
Outerbike has staked out parties in Crested Butte, and Moab for a long time, and will also have Bentonville on the calendar again.
Outerbike Sun Valley does not appear to be returning for 2020, as this year’s debut event in Idaho had a fairly small turnout.

Warren Miller will tour their first MTB movie
Warren Miller films are a tradition for many snow sports enthusiasts before winter hits hard. There are raffles and giveaways, beer and food, and a theater full of people who care far more about moving fast down a mountain than they do about the latest blockbuster.
Now, Warren Miller is planning to launch their first mountain bike film tour, debuting in the spring of 2020, with the hope to stoke the same vibe. Warren Miller will release more information closer to the release. Click here for email alerts and follow-up information.

Muc-Off now has sealed the deal on tubeless tires
UK-based Muc-Off now has a complete lineup of tubeless tire accessories — minus the tire and wheel. Muc-Off starts with a glue and sealant remover, to get old gunk like sealant or rim tape off the wheel. To re-seal, they now have their own tubeless wheel tape in different widths. For trailside use, Muc-Off has a CO2 inflator kit, and B.A.M. (Bottled Air Magic). B.A.M. inflates and repairs tire punctures with a mixture of latex foam and air. Also on the trail, Muc-Off makes a tire plug kit, and a case to carry it all, or a strap to tie it all to your frame. See all the offerings at Muc-Off.com.
