Cotic has a new steel full suspension mountain bike on offer called Jeht (pronounced jet), and the first 30 Launch Edition frames available are made in the UK. Those select bikes come in black or matte turquoise colorways. After the first thirty frames, the bikes will come from their talented Taiwanese builders, painted either Mercury Raven or Matte Blue Steel.

The Jeht is a 140mm steel 29er that can be built up with a 140 or 150mm fork. It uses the brand’s signature droplink single-pivot suspension platform and Longshot geometry design.

With a little less travel than the brand’s RocketMAX balanced 160mm bike, the Jeht gets a slightly steeper headtube angle and a shorter reach for more of a do-it-all character and less do enduro focus.

Full builds for this latest model Cotic range from £3699 to £6199 for the top build on a Taiwanese frameset. The first 30 Uk-made frames will sell for £2199 with a Cane Creek DB Air IL or Kitsuma shock, and the frames made in Taiwan will retail for £1,799 with a Rock Shox Deluxe Select Plus shock.
