Congratulations, you’ve made it through a long, long week of work! You’ve slaved away for the man, working to put food on the table and keep the lights on, and now finally–finally!–you’ll get to enjoy some much-needed time in the woods, shredding on a pair of knobbies this weekend. You’ve reached the finish line of the work week, and now it’s time to toe the starting line and pedal away from the trailhead into unadulterated singletrack bliss!

Welcome to a new weekly Singletracks feature: the “Friday Finish Line.”

To get you stoked for the upcoming weekend shred, every Friday we’ll be rounding up the best MTB content of the week. This will likely include the most popular videos, photos, and articles that Singletracks shared, popular trails, active forum threads, hot news… you name it, you’ll find it here.

The top Singletracks POD of the past 7 days was hands-down this POV shot from Erik Proano. With over 1,500 likes on Facebook, I’m pretty sure everybody wishes they were behind these bars right now finishing up the epic Porcupine Rim descent in Moab!

Most Active Forum Thread

Buying a mountain bike on credit is a controversial topic, as evidenced by this very active forum thread. Check it out, and add your two cents to the conversation!

Juiciest News

This week has actually been relatively quiet on the MTB news front as everybody focuses on getting their powder shred on, but toward the end of last week a ton of world cup team changes made the proverbial phone lines hum:

Video of the Week

Bas Keep’s video “Walls” was the number one internet-breaking bike video of the week. While yes, we know this isn’t technically mountain biking, the absolutely next-level riding and ingenious creativity found in this vid will inspire anyone who enjoys riding a bike… or sports in general. If you missed it, you need to give it a watch now!
