POC is at it again with a visual feast of a booth featuring bold, broad-stroked colors. This year, not too much has come about on the trail and DH side of things as far as helmets are concerned. However, I couldn’t help but notice some of the new offerings for road bikers. After taking a quick peak at them I decided that most XC riders would even enjoy these lids.

The new Octal and Octal Aero are some pretty lightweight yet interesting lids, in that they could easily suffice for a go-fast XC guy. In fact, Mike from POC uses an Octal for XC racing. The use of in-molding techniques in these helmets ensures a good bond between shell and liner.

For those who are interested in casual riding attire, the Flow and Trail line of clothing is a good balance of fit, form, and comfort. This line utilizes breathable materials that hold up well and provide some stretch. In fact, you can put together some neat color combos that Debbie Travis would be proud off.

Stay tuned for more on POC in the near future.
