South African MTB protection and apparel company, Leatt, launched a new line of shoes early this year, and they recently added one more to the lineup. The 3.0 Aaron Chase Flat was designed with the athlete’s signature style and trail digging desires mind.
As we can expect from Leatt, these shoes are well padded to protect the rider’s feet on all sides, and there’s a “medium flex” shank to support the sole. The brand’s FlatGrip sole pattern is intended to interlock with pedal pins, rather than softly squish over them for grip.
The inside of the shoe is composed of “active carbon moisture wicking, quick dry, anti-bacteria, anti-odor material” while the distressed synthetic leather outsole is said to be weatherproof and highly abrasion resistant.
