Mark Reynolds, owner of Wicked Racin and inventor of the Dualrailleur Guide, died suddenly during a race at the Sea Otter Classic this weekend at the age of 48. From eyewitness reports it sounds as if Mark may have had a medical problem that hit while on the bike, causing him to crash near a bridge on the course.

I spoke with Mark at Interbike this past September where he gushed enthusiastically about the Dualrailleur Guide, his love for mountain biking readily apparent to anyone who spoke with him. Mark will certainly be missed in the mountain bike community and our hearts go out to his family at the time of this unexpected tragedy.
